NCC Education announce new Guaranteed Progression pathway to Bangor University

NCC Education is delighted to announce a new Guaranteed Entry progression pathway to Bangor University for International Foundation Year students.

Students who successfully complete NCC Education’s International Foundation Year (IFY) qualification and hold the necessary entry requirements – including those studying within the UK – are now guaranteed entry on to a selection of university courses at Bangor University.

International Foundation Year (IFY) qualification covers English, Culture studies, Mathematics and optional units in either Business or Computing. Upon successful completion, those students meeting the entry a requirements can gain access to courses including: Business, Accounting and Finance, Business and ICT, Marketing, Financial Economics and Business and Law.

With the stunning backdrop of Snowdonia's mountains, Bangor is often spoken of as one of the most appealing university cities in the UK. A prestigious institution that dates back to 1884, the university has a student community comprising 80 nationalities and Bangor is among the most cost-effective university cities in the UK.

In addition to the terrific landscapes and Bangor's low crime rate, the latest National Student Survey (NSS) - released in August 2014 - placed the university in the UK's top 10 for student satisfaction. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) also noted that over three quarters of Bangor University's research is world-leading or internationally excellent and over half of Bangor's academic schools have been ranked in the top 20 in the UK for quality of research.
