International Certificate in Business (ICB)

An introduction to business to equip students with the necessary skills for further study. The International Certificate in Business provides students with:

A broad but secure foundation in the fundamental concepts of business.

An introduction to the mathematical concepts and techniques useful in both their understanding of business and for their future studies.

An opportunity to explore the basics of accounting and economics and identify the differences between them.

The essential study skills needed to succeed at university.

Experience of a variety of assessment types, designed to give students a tast of higher education.
National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level: 3 Entry Requirements
Students must be able to demonstrate that they have:
- Previously studied English at secondary school level, OR
- Have the required minimum result in the NCC Education Higher English Placement Test (HEPT), click here for details, OR
- Have a valid score of 5.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
