International Certificate in Business (ICB)

An introduction to business to equip students with the necessary skills for further study. The International Certificate in Business provides students with:

• A broad but secure foundation in the fundamental concepts of business.
• Effective and practical IT skills.
• An introduction to the mathematical concepts and techniques useful in both their understanding of business and for their future studies.
• An opportunity to explore the basics of accounting and economics and identify the differences between them.
• The essential study skills needed to succeed at university.
• Experience of a variety of assessment types, designed to give students a tast of higher education.

National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level: 3

Entry Requirements

Students must be able to demonstrate that they have:

• Previously studied English at secondary school level, OR
• Have the required minimum result in the NCC Education Higher English Placement Test (HEPT), click here for details, OR
• Have a valid score of 5.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
