Birmingham City University International Foundation Year (IFY) Successful graduates are eligible to apply to enrol for a place of undergraduate study on the BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Information Management ensuring they have met the university’s entry requirements. Students are required to have one of the following qualifications before joining the university: - Overall score of IELTS 6.0
- TOEFL 550 (paper based) 213 (computer based)
- Hong Kong Use of English Test – a minimum of Grade C
- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English – a minimum of Grade C
- GCSE or IGCSE English Language – a minimum of Grade C
International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) Successful graduates with at least a pass grade are eligible for direct entry to the second year of the BSc (Hons) Computing programme.
International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS) Successful graduates with at least a pass grade are eligible for direct entry to the second year of the following programmes: - BSc (Hons) Computing
- BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology
Alternatively, successful graduates with at least a distinction grade are eligible for direct entry to the third year of the following programmes: - BSc (Hons) Computing
- BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology
International Diploma in Business (IDB) Successful graduates with at least a pass grade are eligible for direct entry to the second year of the BA (Hons) Business Studies programme.
International Advanced Diploma in Business (IADB) Successful graduates with at least a pass grade are eligible for direct entry to the second year of the following programmes: - BA (Hons) Business Studies
- BA (Hons) Acountancy and Business
- BA (Hons) Accountancy and Economics
- BA (Hons) Accountancy and Management
