Computer Programmes

International Foundation Year (IFY)
Students who have successfully completed the International Foundation Year with a 'merit' profile or above can apply for direct entry on to Level 1 of the following computing programmes:

All undergraduate computing awards

International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS)
Students who have successfully completed the International Diploma in Computer Studies can apply for direct entry of level 2 of the following computing programmes:

BSc (Hons) Computing Science*
BSc (Hons) Computing Science Multimedia*
BSc (Hons) Computing Science: Web Development*
BSc (Hons) Applied Information Technology*
BSc (Hons) Applied Multimedia Systems*
BSc (Hons) Technology for Teaching and Learning*
BSc (Hons) Mobile Computing (subject to taking Introduction to C Programming in semester 1, alongside level 2 modules)

*It should be noted that there are additional pre requisities to the Staffordshire University standard entry requirements and these are detailed further under additional entry requirements on the university website

International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (IADCS)
Students who have successfully completed the International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies can apply for direct entry onto level 3 of the following computing programmes:

BSc (Hons) Computer Science*
BSc (Hons) Applied Information Technology*
BSc (Hons) Applied Internet Commerce (18 month top up degree)*
BSc (Hons) Applied Multimedia Systems (18 month top up degree)*

Students who have successfully completed the NCC Education International Advanced Diploma in Business can apply with advanced standing for direct entry onto level 3 of the following business degree programmes:

BA (Hons) Business Management , subject to taking Business to Business Marketing as an option module aloongside level 3 modules
BA (Hons) Marketing Management, subject to taking Business to Business Marketing as an option module alongside level 3 modules
BA (Hons) Human Resource Management, subject to taking Learning, Knowledge & Effective Performanceand Rewarding Performance and People, Planning and Resourcing as option modules alongside level 3 modules
BA (Hons) Business Management and Entrepreneurship, subject to taking Creativity and Innovation and Entrepreneurship as option modules alongide level 3 modules
