University of Worcester MBA entry routes
NCC Education Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (QCF) (L7DBM)
Students who have successfully completed the NCC Education L7DBM are eligible to apply for the University of Worcester:
Master's in Business Administration
Students who have successfully completed the NCC Education L7DBM and hold at least a 2nd class honours degree are eligible to apply for the University of Worcester MBA top-up qualification. Students will also need two years work experience and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent to be eligible to apply for the top-up.
The qualification will make it possible for students to top-up the 120 credits from the NCC Education Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management to the 180 credits required for a full master's degree. The top-up will consist of one 20 M level credit Research Methods module and a 40 M level credit dissertation.
The University of Worcester's top-up qualification will be delivered in an intensive study block at the University of Worcester over a two week period. In the two weeks, students will attend research methods classes delivered by University of Worcester academic staff. At the end of the two weeks, students will leave the University of Worcester to work on the research methods assignment with a hand-in date approximately six weeks from the end of the UK study block.
As part of the two week intensive study block, students will also have the opportunity to meet their dissertation supervisor. The supervisor will work with students as they complete their 10000 word dissertation 'at a distance'. The hand-in date of the dissertation will be around nine months after the start of study.
Applications are restricted to international students based outside of the UK who apply through a NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre.
The course will start in January of each year. Unfortunately, university accommodation will not be available for top-up students. However, there are several hotels in the Worcester area, close to the City campus, who offer excellent rates in January.
Graduates of the BSc Business Administation degree with a 2:2 degree classification or above, or at least two years appropriate management experience, will be eligible for entry onto:
