UCLan Registration Deadline Approaching

Register for BSc (Hons) Business Computing & Information Systems or BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networking top-up degrees by Friday 12th August 2022

A reminder to all our Accredited Partner Centres and Students: the registration deadline for the Autumn 2022 intake for the BSc (Hons) Business Computing & Information Systems and the BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networking top-up degrees validated and awarded by University of Central Lancashire is on Friday 12th August 2022.

These Level 6 programmes are equivalent to the final or third year of a UK bachelor’s degree and aim to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in the IT industry today. The BSc (Hons) Business Computing & Information Systems programme is suited to students who wish to understand and apply their knowledge of computing in a business context and prepares them for senior management roles, while the BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networking programme is designed for those seeking career opportunities as professional cyber security practitioners.

The programmes are both delivered 100% online by NCC Education – taught by some of the UK’s top academics through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which offers students the flexibility and accessibility to complete a full UK honours degree from anywhere in the world.

The final degree is validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire. Founded in 1828 in Preston, Lancashire, as The Institution for the Diffusion of Knowledge, today UCLan is the 19th largest university in the UK and stands at the forefront of developing degrees in emerging disciplines.

For students pursuing the BSc (Hons) Cyber Security & Networking, there is an added benefit of NCC Education’s partnership with CompTIA – one of the IT industry’s top trade associations. Graduates of the programme will be offered the opportunity to achieve an additional professional certificate in either Cyber Security (CySA+) or Cloud Infrastructure (Cloud+).

The BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems was established in 2013 and has had over 700 graduates since its launch, with students from across the world who tell us that the flexibility of the programme is what appealed most. One of NCC’s Online Ambassadors, Cheik Adama Melarga Kaba, from Cote d’Ivoire, says that being able to “study in [his] home country at a much lower cost for the first few years, afforded him the opportunity to go abroad and study further.” After completing the BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems top-up degree awarded by the University of Central Lancashire, he is now completing a master’s degree in Corporate Finance at Leonard de Vinci Business School in Paris.

There are two intakes per year in August (Autumn semester) and February (Spring semester), with the next intake starting on 31st August 2022.

We are accepting applications now until Friday 12th August and these can be submitted through the NCC Education Candidate Registration Portal (https://portal.nccedu.com)

When submitting an application, do not forget to include:

–       Candidate’s proof of identification (eg. Passport)
