NCC Education Announce Cyber Security Articulation Route with London Metropolitan University 7 July 2020

NCC Education are delighted to announce a new Cyber Security articulation route to London Metropolitan University, UK.

London Metropolitan University is one of the most socially inclusive universities in the UK and is proud to add real social value to students, staff, and its communities. London Met graduates meet the needs of the London labour market, and their staff and students collaborate with city-wide partners on a range of high-impact research and knowledge exchange programmes.

Opened in 2018, the University’s Cyber Security Research Centre provides students with an innovative ‘world of work’ environment with strategic partners Lloyds Banking Group, Cisco, and Callsign.

The Centre boasts a secure lab, private cloud-based on Google Kubernetes for experimental research and development of Cyber Security solutions, as well as development studios dedicated to consultancy, development, and innovation projects.

Upon completing the Level 5 Diploma in Cyber Security (L5DCS), students attaining a minimum grade of Merit are now eligible to apply to the final year of the BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Computer Forensics (top-up) at the university’s School of Computing and Digital Media.

London Metropolitan University also welcome applications from NCC Education students for a range of other courses at different levels, once they have completed Business, Computing or Finance streams of the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES), Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB), Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB), Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC), Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC) and Level 5 Diploma in Business IT (L5DBIT)*.

Head of Partnerships at NCC Education, Dermot Finnigan, says: “We are delighted to have updated our articulation agreement with London Met. The inclusion of a brand-new L5DCS articulation to London Met’s BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Computer Forensics (top-up) is superb news for our Accredited Partner Centres around the world.”

Michael Upton, Head of Academic Portfolio at London Metropolitan University said, “We are excited about this latest development in our relationship with NCC and look forward to welcoming their diploma students from across the globe to London, to the University, and to our Cyber Security Research Centre.”
