NCC Education Announce Progression Route Agreement with the Manchester Metropolitan University 4 June 2019

NCC Education are delighted to announce their new progression route agreement with the Manchester Metropolitan University.

The Manchester Metropolitan University will now recognise our Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) and offer progression onto over 120 courses at bachelor’s degree level.

Students can choose from a wide range of options at the Manchester Metropolitan Business School, broadly covering areas including banking, business, finance, economics, medicine, geography, sports and more.

The university’s routes in education date back to 1824, when the Manchester Mechanics Institute was founded, then formed into a polytechnic in 1970 when the School of Design was founded. In 1992, it became a university with its headquarters in Manchester.

Home to more than 36,000 students, Manchester Metropolitan University receives the third highest student applications in the UK, making it one of the largest student populations in Europe.

The university prides itself on strong partnerships with businesses and organisations at a regional, national and international level, which include the BBC and IBM.

Many of the university’s degree courses include a year-long work placement with these organisations – something the university believes aids its high employment rate for graduates.

NCC Education students who progress with the Manchester Metropolitan University will have the opportunity to graduate from the UK at their awards ceremony.

Partnership Manager at NCC Education Dermot Finnigan says: “We are pleased to be working with one of the UK’s leading universities to offer progression routes for our international students.

“The courses on offer opens up a broad range of opportunities for employment or further study, along with the choice for international travel.”

Head of International Recruitment and Marketing at Manchester Metropolitan University Kay Morgan says, “It’s great to be able to offer NCC students a route to enter Manchester Met.

“We welcome international students from all over the world to our amazing city to come and study with us, offering you industry relevant courses in a study environment which is friendly and supportive.”
