Established in January 2003, Skillmaster is a Registered Training Provider in Singapore with more than two decades of experience in workforce education. From its beginnings as a small training centre specialising in food safety and hygiene, it has grown into a recognised institution accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and the Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
Today, Skillmaster offers training across a broad range of areas, including food and beverage, workplace safety, customer management, artificial intelligence and financial literacy. Its training premises at WCEGA Tower in Bukit Batok feature classrooms designed to support both theoretical learning and practical assessments.

The centre’s approach is built around two key areas:
- Regulatory compliance: Training is delivered in accordance with Singapore’s national Workforce Skills Qualifications framework and the standards established by SkillsFuture Singapore. Skillmaster also aims to contribute to the continued development of adult and continuing education.
- Practical engagement: Courses are designed to be hands-on, enabling learners to apply their knowledge confidently in demanding working environments such as kitchens and restaurants.
Courses are delivered by experienced adult educators and accredited by the relevant authorities, making Skillmaster a trusted partner in workforce development.
Connecting vocational training with international education
Through its partnership with NCC Education, Skillmaster aims to bridge the gap between local vocational training and international higher education. The centre will be able to offer internationally recognised British qualifications alongside its existing WSQ curriculum.
This expanded offering will help meet the growing demand among Singapore’s workforce for greater global mobility, broader academic opportunities and higher-level qualifications.
