C.E.M.B., which was upgraded to university status as U.E.M.B. on 30 December 2022, was founded in 2010 to address the growing need for accredited, affordable, and flexible education for working professionals. Recognising this gap, the founder and current principal, Dr. Stanley A. V. Paul, established C.E.M.B. to provide accessible learning opportunities in a supportive environment for the Guyanese community. Since then, the institution has continued to grow and evolve, becoming the University of Excellence, Management, and Business (U.E.M.B.) today.
