NCC Education Announce Progression Routes to University of New Brunswick

NCC Education are delighted to announce new progression routes to University of New Brunswick (UNB), Canada. Established in 1785, UNB is spread across two campuses, Fredericton and Saint John, located in the beautiful Canadian province of New Brunswick.

Surrounded by rivers, parks, and trails, both Fredericton, New Brunswick’s capital city, and Saint John, Canada’s first incorporated city, offer a warm and welcoming community ready to make students feel at home.

UNB is focused on teaching excellence, world-class research, and helping students to achieve their academic goals, making it a great place for students to learn and broaden their skills. Experiential learning opportunities are available in every faculty, providing thousands of opportunities for students to get hands-on experience through placements, internships, community-based research, fieldwork, project-based learning, and much more.

With small class sizes and services such as UNB’s writing centres, the student accessibility centre, the financial aid office and academic advising through student services, the university provides first-rate student support.

UNB’s four libraries, the Harriet Irving Library, Hans W. Klohn Commons, Science & Forestry Library, and the Engineering & Computer Science Library, ensure students have access to the latest resources and plentiful areas for individual and group study.

The university holds 5 QS stars and is ranked in the world Top 600-800 universities worldwide (THE World University Rankings 2025). Within the subject areas of computer science and engineering, UNB ranks in the world’s Top 251-300  in the World University Rankings 2024 by subject: computer science; 201-250 in the World University Rankings 2024 by subject: engineering, and in the world’s Top 500 for business and economics (World University Rankings 2024 by subject: business and economics).

Upon completing the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies, students are welcome to apply to a wide range of UNB undergraduate degrees including Arts, Business, Computer Science, Education, Engineering, Forestry, Kinesiology, Law, Leadership, Nursing and Science*.

“I am thrilled to share that we have a brand-new progression opportunity for NCC learners to continue their studies at a world-class research institution in Canada,” says Rebecca Bewley, head of partnerships at NCC Education.

“We are excited to welcome NCC Education students to UNB. With our extensive support services and a wide range of experiential learning opportunities, we are confident they will thrive. We look forward to their contributions and the mutual growth within our vibrant academic community,” said Dr. Michel Rod, vice provost of strategic enrolment at UNB.
