Upon completing the Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies, Level 3 Diploma in Computing, Level 4 Diploma in Computing, Level 4 Diploma in Business, Level 5 Diploma in Business or Pre-Master’s in Business, students can be guaranteed a place on various Bangor University programmes*.
For L3IFDHES students this includes numerous undergraduate degrees offered by Bangor Business School, the School of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Psychology and Sports Science, School of History, Law and Social Sciences, School of Arts Culture and Language, School of Environmental and Natural Sciences and School of Health Sciences.
Furthermore, graduates from the new L3IFDHES specification with an overall average of 60% in ‘New English for Academic Purposes’ will not be required to take an IELTS or equivalent English-language test for admission to the majority of undergraduate programmes, which require an IELTS or equivalent score of 6.0 (no subscore below 5.5). Likewise, L3IFDHES students applying for LLM Law degrees or degrees requiring an IELTS or equivalent score of 6.5 (no subscore below 6.0), will not be required to take an additional English-language test should they achieve an overall average of 70% in ‘New EAP’.
