The NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Computing is a dynamic and accessible qualification designed for learners aged 14 and above who wish to develop their knowledge and understanding of computing through structured learning.
This qualification provides a strong foundation in key computing concepts and practical skills, preparing learners for progression to higher education courses or entry-level roles in the digital and technology sectors. It also supports those learning English as a second or foreign language, enabling them to study and be assessed in English with confidence.

To gain the Diploma, learners MUST achieve the following 4 units equal to the total of 48 credits.
- Computational Problem Solving -12 credits
- Computer Systems and Networking -12 credits
- Cloud Computing – 12 credits
- Digital Collaboration and Communication Skills -12 credits

Students must meet the following entry requirements:
- Be working towards their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent qualification in their own country and be predicted 4 subjects with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘4’ or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English.
- The NCC Education Level 2 Computing diploma syllabus and assessment is suitable for candidates aged 14 and above (at Key Stage 4 of the English national curriculum) as well as older (including adult) learners.
It is expected that candidates who are non-native English speakers are able to cope with the demands of preparing for and taking the NCC Education Level 2 Computing suite qualification assessment in English.

Learners who successfully complete the NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Computing can progress to the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing, further enhancing their knowledge and skills to prepare for higher education or professional roles in the business sector.

Assessments for all units will be offered in a number of assessment cycles throughout the year. The units are all assessed by either examination or assignments.
