Students who successfully complete the NCC Education Level 2 Certificate in Business can progress to the NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Business, further enhancing their knowledge and skills to prepare for higher education or professional roles in the business sector.

To gain the Certificate, learners MUST achieve the following core units that total 32 credits
Basics in Business (6 Credits)
This module introduces foundational concepts of business, covering internal operations like HR, finance, and marketing, alongside external factors such as economic, political, ethical, and global contexts impacting organisations.
Leadership in Business (6 credits)
This module explores core leadership concepts, including power, identity, collective leadership, and ethical leadership, while examining historical perspectives and models for ethical business practice.
Introduction to Business Mathematics (20 credits)
The Business Mathematics module introduces key mathematical concepts and their role in supporting business operations. It highlights the benefits of mathematical knowledge for both businesses and customers, providing an understanding of how businesses rely on these concepts to function effectively.

Students should be working towards their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent qualification in their own country and be predicted 4 subjects with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘4’ or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English.
The NCC Education Level 2 Business suite syllabus and assessment is suitable for candidates aged 14 and above (at Key Stage 4 of the English national curriculum) as well as older (including adult) learners.
It is expected that candidates who are non-native English speakers are able to cope with the demands of preparing for and taking the NCC Education Level 2 Business suite qualification assessment in English.

Students who complete the NCC Education Level 2 Certificate in Business can choose to further expand their knowledge and skills by completing an additional unit to achieve the NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Business.

Assessments for all units are offered in a number of assessment cycles throughout the year. All units are assessed by assignments and/or examinations.
