Founded a decade ago, the academy has been serving its local community by providing specialist childcare training to parents.
Now on a mission to expand its service, Tulip Community Academy has commenced training in family education to tackle some of the common challenges that modern parents face in education, such as inequality and the change of mentality when arranging education opportunities for their children.
The academy pioneers in encouraging its staff members to develop entrepreneurship and innovating family education which focusses on parents’ transition to an inclusive approach to cultivating the next generation.
Digi Explorers is the first computing programme for primary school students. Students are introduced to Scratch programming language.
Digi Navigators is the second stage computing programme for young learners. Students are introduced to Python programming language.
Digi Trailblazers is the third computing programme for Secondary school learners. Students are introduced to more advanced Scratch and Python programming lessons.
Level 2 Award in Computing (L2AC)
The NCC Education Level 2 Award in Computing is an Ofqual regulated qualfication. It is the highest level Computing programme for Secondary school learners and is included in the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework at Level 2 (the same level as all IGCSE qualifications). Students’ coding skills are strengthened with more advanced Python lessons and introduction lessons in Java.
Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES)
The NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. It is a one-year pre-university qualification developed by UK academics to help you progress successfully to undergraduate study.
