About the University

 Bournemouth University’s motto is Discere Mutari Est, meaning To Learn is to Change. Founded in 1992, the university’s coat of arms displays three crowns to denote the Saxon crowns of the ancient Kingdom of Wessex and nearby boroughs of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. The colour blue signifies the nearby sea, a red dragon is for the county of Dorset and a scroll symbolises learning.

Offering something for everyone – incredible beaches, a lively town centre, green spaces, a multi-million pound leisure complex and a Premier League football team – Bournemouth’s population of around 200,000 means there is always something interesting happening whilst being small enough to feel like home.

Over 100 clubs and societies are run via the Bournemouth Students’ Union and are based entirely on students’ passions, ranging from sports to charities, baking to gaming, and education to politics.

Furthermore, Bournemouth University Business School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – an accreditation held by fewer than 6% of the world’s business schools. Other Business School programme accreditations include CMI, IDM, CIMA, CIM and more.

 

How to Apply

Upon completing the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies, students are welcome to apply to a wide range of undergraduate degree programmes at Bournemouth University Business School, including Business & Management (with various specialisms), International Business, Tourism and Hospitality.
