Fundamentals for Professional Development: Internet of Things (IoT)


This module will aid your exploration in the history of internet evolution, the convergency of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), and the eventual emergence of the term Internet of Things (IoT).

Overview

You will have a good understanding of what sensors and actuators do and start to understand the applications used to power the Internet of Things (IoT). Chapter Three will summarise the programming language used for IoT Projects and help you understand the relationship between 5G, the IoT revolution and how these are used in different industries.

In completing the course, you will be able to identify future career opportunities in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT).

 

Accreditation Status

The Fundamentals Internet of Things (IoT) module is accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Standards Office.
