Lancashire College of Further Education, a partner of NCC Education, has been at the forefront of Further Education in Lancashire since 2007. The NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC) is an Ofqual-regulated qualfication. It is a general qualification that introduces the field of computing and equips students to show key transferable study skills, mathematical competency, and an understanding of the essential concepts of IT and practical computing skills.

The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. The qualification makes up the first year of a Computing/ IT degree pathway. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system.

The Level 4 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L4DC BM)) (previously the Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT)) makes up the first year of the NCC Education degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of an IT degree in the UK university system.

The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. The qualification (with specialisms) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) or the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L4DC BM), exposing students to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including database development, information systems analysis, network security and cryptography.

The Level 5 Diploma in Computing (with Business Management) (L5DC BM) (previously the Level 5 Diploma in Business IT (L5DBIT)) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L4DBIT).

The Level 5 Diploma in Computing (with Cyber Security (L5DC CS) (previously Level 5 Diploma in Cyber Security (L5DCS)) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey. This builds upon the knowledge gained during the Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC).

The BSc (Hons) Business Computing and Information Systems Top-up Degree is delivered online by NCC Education, validated and awarded by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). This programme has been designed to prepare students for employment in the IT sector.

The BEng (Hons) Software Engineering Top-Up degree is delivered online by Western International College Online (WINC) and provides progression from NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing.
This final year top-up degree is awarded by the University of Bolton.

This programme is designed to enable candidates to efficiently bridge the gap between their existing qualifications and a master’s qualification. On successful completion students will be able to progress directly on to a master’s degree programme.

The BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and Networking top-up degree is delivered online by NCC Education and is a natural progression from our Level 5 Diploma in Computing with Cyber Security. This final year is awarded by the University of Central Lancashire (abbreviated UCLan).
The programme aims to equip graduates with the knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills necessary for taking part in the design, implementation, management and security of modern computer systems.

The Level 7 Diploma in Business Management is recognised as suitable entry onto Cardiff Metropolitan University‘s MBA Top-up programme. Allowing students to fast-track their studies to gain a full MBA award.
